Role overview
Qargo is hiring a Business Development Manager to strengthen its commercial presence in Ireland. This position offers the opportunity to work in an international environment with a high level of autonomy, ownership, and direct impact on growth.
What you will do
- Own the sales process end to end, from lead generation and prospecting to deal closure.
- Source new opportunities through phone outreach, email campaigns, networking events, and trade fairs.
- Develop a strong understanding of customer challenges, business priorities, and the competitive environment.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with key stakeholders to grow Qargo’s market presence and support cross-selling.
- Work closely with colleagues across teams and locations to keep commercial efforts aligned.
- Bring fresh ideas that help exceed targets, strengthen brand visibility, and shorten sales cycles.
- Use tools such as HubSpot and Gong to improve efficiency and sales execution.
Skills and experience
- A demonstrated history of success in sales, especially in a proactive hunting role.
- An entrepreneurial, self-driven mindset with strong energy and initiative.
- The ability to work well with others while remaining focused on closing business.
- Prior experience selling SaaS or technology products is an advantage.
- A global outlook and openness to travel.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Fluency in English.
- A valid driver’s licence and access to a car for client meetings.
