Job description

About the Opportunity

We are representing a fast-growing hospitality technology scale-up in Australia that has recently completed a major seed funding round and is now moving into its next stage of expansion. The business aims to become the preferred platform for hospitality venues across Australia and eventually in other markets as well.

The company addresses a widespread problem in the hospitality sector: many venues still rely on outdated systems that create unnecessary friction for customers, staff, and operators. Its modern platform has already attracted major venue groups, and the market response continues to build.

This is an opportunity for an ambitious Business Development Manager to help accelerate growth in a business with clear product-market fit, strong momentum, and a meaningful opportunity to influence what comes next.

Why This Role Is Attractive

  • You will not be inheriting an exhausted territory or spending your time on poor-quality leads.
  • You will be offering a product that customers are genuinely enthusiastic about.
  • You will have direct access to the founders.
  • You will help shape strategic decisions.
  • You will join a team that is already performing strongly.
  • Your contribution will have a real impact on the future direction of the business.

What You Will Do

  • Drive new business growth across hospitality venues and multi-venue groups.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with venue owners, operators, and senior stakeholders.
  • Own the sales process from prospecting through to closing.
  • Create and grow strategic partnerships throughout the hospitality ecosystem.
  • Represent the business at industry events and build visibility in the market.
  • Work closely with the founders and leadership team on growth priorities.
  • Share ideas that help refine the product, market positioning, and go-to-market approach.

What Kind of Person Will Succeed

  • You enjoy prospecting and closing new deals.
  • You are proactive and do not rely on inbound leads.
  • You bring curiosity and strong commercial awareness.
  • You are resilient, driven, and hold yourself to high standards.
  • You want to work with ambitious, high-performing colleagues.
  • You are energised by the pace of a fast-growing business.

Experience That Would Help

Background in SaaS, hospitality technology, POS, payments, venue technology, or similar sectors would be a strong advantage.

Compensation and Benefits

The package includes a competitive base salary plus superannuation, with a realistic on-target earnings range of $200,000 to $300,000. The role is fully remote and offers the chance to join a well-funded company with a large untapped market, direct access to leadership, and exposure to some of Australia's best-known hospitality brands. It is also an opportunity to join early and help build something with long-term significance.

Additional Information

This role sits in a company that already has strong product-market fit, secured funding, and substantial market potential. The business is looking for the right person to help lead the next phase of growth. Interested candidates can reach out directly or submit a CV for a confidential discussion.
