Role Overview

The organization is seeking a proactive and well-networked professional to handle project liaisoning, regulatory approvals, stakeholder engagement, business development support, and brand-building activities for industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects. The role requires close coordination with government bodies, consultants, approval agencies, and business partners to help secure timely clearances, support smooth project delivery, strengthen relationships, and improve market visibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with government departments, statutory bodies, consultants, and approval engineers to secure licenses, NOCs, permits, product approvals, and other mandatory clearances.
  • Oversee the full documentation and submission process, follow up on applications, coordinate site visits, and liaise with authorities, consultants, EPC contractors, and engineers.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with public authorities, industry contacts, and business partners, and represent the company in meetings and discussions.
  • Assist with business expansion efforts and support promotional initiatives to raise awareness of the company’s products, projects, and brand across industry and government forums.
  • Maintain trackers, progress reports, and records of approvals, and help remove blockers through prompt coordination and escalation when needed.

Experience and Skill Requirements

  • 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in business development, brand promotion, liaisoning, government approvals, or project execution.
  • Practical understanding of product approvals, compliance procedures, and coordination with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, networking, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Comfortable managing several projects, follow-ups, and approval workflows within deadlines.
  • A professional, hands-on, and business-focused approach with the ability to represent the brand effectively.

Preferred Background

  • A bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
  • Prior exposure to steel products, infrastructure, real estate, manufacturing, or industrial projects is an advantage.
  • Experience dealing with government, semi-government, PSU, and private approval systems will be beneficial.
  • Ability to communicate in Hindi, Bengali, and English is preferred.
