Role Overview
This position focuses on expanding revenue for the platform’s advertising business. The role covers the full range of ad offerings, including display inventory, sponsored placements, newsletter spots, and tailored campaign partnerships. The person in this role will work with crypto projects, exchanges, wallets, Web3 brands, and other organizations that want to reach a large crypto-focused audience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete advertising sales process from lead generation and pitching through negotiation and deal closure.
- Sell across multiple advertising formats, such as banner ads, sponsored token or coin placements, newsletter and email placements, and custom campaign bundles.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline of advertisers, including crypto ventures, exchanges, wallets, launchpads, and Web3 companies.
- Create customized proposals and media plans that match client goals and budget levels.
- Act as the main point of contact between advertising clients and internal teams such as ad operations, design, and editorial.
- Expand business from current advertisers through renewals, upselling, and adoption of additional products.
- Review campaign results and communicate performance insights and ROI to clients.
- Keep track of market developments, competitor activity, and pricing trends in the crypto advertising space.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in ad sales, media sales, or digital advertising business development.
- A well-developed network in the crypto or Web3 ecosystem, including projects, exchanges, wallets, or marketing agencies.
- Strong knowledge of digital advertising channels such as display ads, sponsored content, newsletter sponsorships, and programmatic advertising.
- A proven history of consistently meeting or surpassing advertising revenue goals.
- Native-level English fluency; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-moving remote environment.
- A BS/BA degree in business, marketing, advertising, or a related discipline.
- Preferred experience selling ad inventory for a high-traffic crypto or fintech platform.
- Helpful familiarity with ad servers, campaign reporting tools, and media planning.
- Existing relationships with crypto marketing teams or agencies are an added advantage.
- Understanding of token launches, exchange listings, and crypto project marketing cycles is beneficial.
