Business Development Intern

Role summary

Madre Integrated Engineering is looking for a Business Development Intern in Doha, Qatar to support its business development activities. About the role

In this position, you will collaborate with the business development team on outreach, client coordination, reporting, and strategic support work. The internship offers practical involvement in proposal preparation, relationship management, and business operations across regional and international markets.

Key responsibilities

• Support the team with day-to-day business development tasks and initiatives.
• Handle client communication and follow-ups in both English and Arabic.
• Help identify, monitor, and track prospective clients, partners, and new business opportunities.
• Assist in creating proposals, presentations, company capability profiles, and reports.
• Update client databases, CRM entries, and lead-tracking sheets.
• Work with internal teams to support sales activities and related business efforts.
• Take part in internal discussions, client meetings, and review sessions.
• Gather market intelligence on industry trends, competitors, and emerging opportunities.
• Keep documentation, follow-ups, and status reporting current and accurate.

Eligibility and requirements

This internship is suitable for fresh graduates with a BBA or MBA, preferably in Business Development, Marketing, or a related field. Candidates should be comfortable communicating in both English and Arabic, and should bring strong interpersonal, coordination, and presentation skills. Familiarity with MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is also required. The role is best suited to someone who can work well in a structured team environment and is eager to learn, adapt, and take ownership of assigned tasks.
