Your Mission
Paradigm and Paradex are expanding their DeFi offerings across the Americas, and this role will support that growth. The Business Development Associate will help scale the business by applying knowledge of derivatives and the crypto ecosystem to strengthen client relationships and expand market reach. Candidates must be based in New York City.
What You’ll Do
- Act as the main contact for institutional clients, both during initial onboarding and throughout the ongoing relationship.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities while deepening existing client accounts across the Americas.
- Run onboarding and education sessions to walk clients through product functionality, workflows, and technical questions.
- Compile and share client activity updates with leadership, and coordinate closely with Engineering, Product, QA, and Compliance teams.
What You Bring
- Strong enthusiasm for crypto, along with solid knowledge of derivatives and sales/trading workflows; experience in electronic trading is a strong advantage.
- At least 2 years of experience on an institutional sales desk with derivatives exposure, plus a minimum of 1 year in crypto institutional sales.
- Established relationships within the crypto community and the ability to use that network to support business goals.
- Excellent English communication skills and the ability to serve a varied client base clearly and confidently.
- A history of outperforming revenue targets, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Good time management and the ability to collaborate smoothly with a globally distributed team.
- Basic familiarity with SQL and Python is considered a plus.
