Role Overview
As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in monitoring potential fraud, waste, and abuse within healthcare claims to ensure compliance. You will be actively involved in the investigation process, leveraging your data expertise to support a Fortune 6 leader. This role requires a 'data guru' who can effectively communicate research and data findings to various stakeholders.
You will have the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. However, for employees based in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. areas, a minimum of four days per week in the office is required.
Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct data analysis and generate insights for the investigations team, including data extraction, summarization, random sampling, and special projects.
- Prepare healthcare claims data to meet investigative business needs and collaborate with investigation teams to understand data set contents.
- Develop and implement standardized company-wide policies, procedures, processes, and best practices to ensure adherence to applicable laws and contractual obligations.
- Assist in data collection for Special Investigations Unit (SIU) activities and produce regular regulatory and executive-level reports.
- Generate and distribute scheduled and ad-hoc client and operational reports detailing the performance of products, processes, and technologies.
- Analyze and interpret data to identify business and client trends, patterns, and opportunities.

Additional Information
Pay for this role is determined by factors such as local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications, and will range from $58,800 to $105,000 annually for full-time employment. We adhere to all applicable minimum wage laws.
