Role overview
TCN is looking for a motivated Business Data Analyst to support the evolution of its business intelligence capabilities. Based in St. George, Utah, this position focuses on improving data strategy, advancing BI products, and helping clients achieve better outcomes through analytics and visualization.
In this role, you will work closely with the Business Intelligence team to validate product quality, assist with client needs assessment, and develop practical dashboards and recommendations. You will also contribute to BI revenue growth and help shape the direction of TCN’s BI offerings.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct quality assurance checks for BI features and product launches to confirm reliability, usability, and strong performance.
- Prepare clear documentation and training resources for internal users and clients.
- Build dashboards and insight outputs that surface important trends and metrics with minimal setup or customization.
- Work with clients to understand business challenges, identify useful datasets, and design tailored BI solutions.
- Support growth in BI revenue and client adoption by demonstrating how TCN’s tools improve call center operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent level of practical experience in Business Intelligence, Data Science, or a similar discipline.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in BI, data analysis, call center customer service, or a related function.
- Hands-on exposure to relational databases, BI platforms, and data visualization tools.
- Solid understanding of analytics, data mining, and pattern detection.
- Background in client-facing work involving insights, consultation, or solution delivery.
- Ability to explain complex data clearly and turn findings into actionable recommendations.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and a proactive approach.
- Customer orientation, good interpersonal communication, and the ability to think creatively when solving data problems.
