Role Summary

This is a full-time hybrid opportunity for a Business Consultant in Koyilandy, Kerala, with flexibility for work from home. The position is intended for candidates who are based in Calicut, Kerala, or are willing to relocate there. The role is centered on supporting business expansion, strengthening local market presence, and helping implement sales and distribution plans.

What You Will Do

You will work with customers and channel partners to understand insurance needs and recommend suitable SBI Life offerings while maintaining strong service quality. The position also involves tracking local market movements, reviewing performance indicators, and preparing simple reports that can guide business decisions. In addition, you will coordinate with internal teams, take part in training and outreach efforts, and represent the company’s ethical and customer-focused approach.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate should have a sound grasp of business concepts and prior exposure to, or strong interest in, business planning, especially within financial services or insurance. You should be comfortable interpreting basic data, spotting trends, and using insights to support local decisions. Strong communication and customer service skills are important for working with clients, partners, and internal teams. A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, commerce, or a related area is preferred, though candidates with relevant diplomas and strong experience may also be considered. Basic computer proficiency is needed, including MS Office, email, and online tools; familiarity with CRM systems and digital platforms will be an added advantage. Knowledge of the local language and market conditions in Calicut and Koyilandy will be helpful.

Work Setup

The role requires a hybrid working model, with the primary location in Koyilandy and periodic field visits and meetings as needed.
