Role Overview

As a Business Analyst, you will serve as the connection point between business stakeholders and technical teams. Your role will involve understanding business needs, examining existing workflows, spotting areas for enhancement, and turning those needs into practical requirements and documentation that guide project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, clarify, and record business needs using interviews, workshops, surveys, and review of existing documents.
  • Map out both current and desired business processes, and pinpoint opportunities to make them more effective.
  • Prepare detailed documentation such as business requirement documents, functional specifications, use cases, and process flow diagrams.
  • Maintain clear communication with stakeholders from both technical and non-technical backgrounds.
  • Work with engineering and delivery teams to convert business needs into technical requirements.
  • Support solution design, testing, and implementation activities throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify ways to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and overall business performance.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a closely related discipline.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Maximo.
  • At least 3 years of experience in business analysis or a similar position.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to produce requirement documents and business process diagrams with accuracy.
  • Experience using requirement-gathering methods and techniques.
  • Exposure to Agile and/or Waterfall project approaches.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite, Jira, Confluence, and related business analysis tools.
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong planning, organization, and time-management skills.
  • Adaptable, fast-moving, and willing to learn in a dynamic environment.
