Role overview
MedHealth is seeking a Business Analyst to join its enterprise Program Office and Centre of Excellence for project management. In this position, you will partner with a wide range of stakeholders across the business to provide analysis and insights that support business transformation and change programs. A key part of the role is ensuring business needs are clearly translated into delivery outcomes, while also helping project leaders manage communication between the business and delivery squads.
You will be part of a team delivering technology-led initiatives on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The role sits at the intersection of business analysis and project delivery, requiring enough technical understanding to support sound decisions and guide agile delivery teams effectively.
This is a fixed-term, full-time opportunity for 12 months, with a hybrid working arrangement available.
What you will do
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand new initiative requirements, map the current-state process, and shape future-state process flows and maps.
- Review existing processes in detail, including the supporting templates, artefacts, and other key business data points used today.
- Design the preferred future-state process in line with project goals and broader business requirements.
- Present the proposed future-state process to stakeholders and incorporate their feedback.
- Carry out user acceptance testing against business requirements and the tickets being developed.
- Perform ongoing gap analysis across both process and technical areas, and prepare additional requirements where needed.
- Confirm build/configuration needs and process-change requirements, and help prioritise build items.
- Look for opportunities to improve processes and technology in a proactive way.
- Use structured, critical thinking to bring together data from multiple systems and map it into downstream systems, including any required transformation logic.
- Gather and document business requirements through workshops, meetings, and other stakeholder interactions to support prioritisation of strategic objectives.
