PETADATA is seeking a highly experienced Senior Documentum Specialist with over 15 years of practical experience in Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of Documentum, OpenText, and other related ECM technologies. This role demands profound expertise in customizing, integrating, migrating, and maintaining the Documentum platform, alongside the capability to lead and manage intricate ECM projects from inception through to successful implementation. As a Senior Consultant, you will be expected to provide strategic guidance, establish best practices, and significantly influence the direction of ECM initiatives for our clients.

Position Overview

This hybrid role is based in Reston, VA, requiring 3 days in the office. The position is offered on a C2C work type.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Spearhead the design, development, and troubleshooting of Documentum applications, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security.
• Architect and implement tailored solutions utilizing Documentum Content Server, D2 Config, D2 Classic, D2 Smart View, Brava, CTS, xPlore, and DFC Client.
• Oversee critical platform upgrades and migrations, including data transfer, version updates, and architectural adjustments.
• Design and configure Documentum workflows, business rules, and lifecycle management frameworks.
• Enforce best practices for Documentum security, managing user roles, permissions, and access controls effectively.
• Develop and design REST APIs for Documentum and other ECM platforms, leveraging the Spring Framework.
• Integrate Documentum with external systems and third-party applications through REST APIs.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to API performance, security, and integration challenges.
• Utilize AWS services such as EC2, ECS, RDS, ALB, SSM, SQS, SNS, Lambda, and AWS SDK to build scalable and resilient ECM solutions.
• Manage and optimize AWS deployments, scrutinize configurations and security policies, and analyze logs to ensure the reliability of cloud-based ECM applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure problems, including system failures, network disruptions, and performance bottlenecks.
• Lead and contribute to Agile development teams, ensuring strict adherence to Agile principles and methodologies.
• Actively participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and code reviews to uphold high code quality and project alignment.
• Collaborate closely with product owners, business analysts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver high-quality ECM solutions punctually.
• Act as the primary technical consultant for clients, translating business requirements into effective technical ECM solutions.
• Provide advanced support to resolve issues, enhance performance, and ensure the long-term scalability of ECM systems.
• Present technical information and documentation to both technical and non-technical audiences.
