Role Overview
Capco is seeking a Business Analyst focused on reconciliation work. The role combines business analysis, process improvement, stakeholder coordination, and support for financial data accuracy across systems. The analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams and IT stakeholders to define needs, shape solutions, and help ensure smooth delivery and adoption.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify business requirements for new initiatives by engaging stakeholders, capturing needs, and translating them into clear documentation.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and monitor solutions that align with business goals.
- Carry out reconciliation activities to maintain accurate financial transaction tracking and preserve data integrity across systems.
- Support stakeholders with system-related questions and troubleshoot functional issues when they arise.
Detailed Job Requirements
- Work with stakeholders to collect, organize, and prioritize business needs, and prepare detailed functional and technical documentation for IT solutions.
- Assess solution feasibility to confirm that proposed approaches fit both business objectives and technical constraints.
- Collaborate with technical teams on solution design, and suggest system enhancements, customizations, and practical best practices.
- Review existing workflows to find improvement opportunities, lead process reengineering efforts, and help implement optimized procedures.
- Serve as the lead analyst on IT projects by managing scope, timelines, deliverables, requirements validation, testing, and user training support.
- Assist project managers with planning resources, managing risks, and preparing status updates.
- Act as the main link between business users and IT teams, ensuring smooth communication and clear understanding of project goals, timelines, and expectations.
- Use data analysis to support decisions, create performance metrics and reports, and present insights to senior stakeholders.
- Define acceptance criteria, participate in user acceptance testing, and work with QA teams to close issues and improve solution quality.
- Guide junior analysts and project team members, share good practices, and contribute to better business analysis methods within the organization.
- Support change management efforts, help users adapt to new systems, and create training sessions, user guides, and other documentation.
