Role Overview
The Business Analyst will help convert business needs and data into improved processes and automation. This position works closely with teams across the organization to address business challenges, strengthen user experience, raise productivity, and support revenue growth. The role also involves building detailed financial models to evaluate performance, predict future trends, and assist with strategic decisions. The analyst will partner with Development, Leasing, and Operations, and should be adaptable, comfortable with change, and technically capable of supporting both the team and the platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and interpret data, insights, and facts to establish baseline information and determine the best course of action for business success.
- Lead discovery efforts by interviewing stakeholders and departments, gathering requirements, and identifying the teams, workflows, and process needs involved.
- Record all inputs, actions, and outcomes shared across the team, and clearly define acceptance criteria.
- Serve as a communication bridge between teams, departments, and stakeholders to keep expectations aligned and processes moving in the right direction.
- Plan and execute actions that meet stakeholder goals, and help define project roadmaps.
- Validate delivered solutions, track progress, and prepare training materials while maintaining feedback and elicitation records.
- Build Power BI reports that support stronger decision-making through clear insights.
- Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models for performance analysis, forecasting, and decision support.
- Protect the accuracy and reliability of data used in financial analysis and modeling.
- Handle additional duties assigned by the Manager, Business Analytics.
Work Environment
This is an onsite role in the company’s new downtown Delray Beach office. The culture is described as fast-moving, flexible, and friendly, with value placed on in-person collaboration while still allowing a flexible schedule and remote work when needed.
Education and Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in Business or another related discipline is preferred.
- At least 2 to 3 years of experience in business analysis.
- At least 1 year of project management experience.
- Background in data modeling, process mapping, and specification documentation.
- Experience creating, implementing, and maintaining system processes and procedures.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI, and Visio, or similar tools.
- Experience building, reviewing, and maintaining complex financial models using Excel or Python.
- Experience facilitating workshops and discussion sessions.
- Ability to prepare business cases for technology-driven solutions.
- Track record of completing projects on schedule, within budget, and according to requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, with the capacity to work across multiple data sources.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Active listening skills, strategic thinking, negotiation ability, and a practical approach to problem-solving.
- Comfort working both independently and collaboratively in an entrepreneurial setting.
