Role overview

Avigna.AI is hiring an experienced Business Analyst to work from its Pune office in Baner. This is a Monday to Friday, office-based position with working hours from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM. The role is suited for someone who has handled international client interactions, especially in enterprise software environments, and who can act as the link between business stakeholders and technical teams.

The position also involves contributing to initiatives that bring AI capabilities into existing products, while working alongside development, QA, product, and other cross-functional teams in an Agile setup.

Work location and schedule

Location: Pune District, Maharashtra, India, specifically Baner, Pune.

Work mode: Work from office.

Working days: Monday to Friday.

Working hours: 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, interpret, and record business needs in a clear and structured way.
• Prepare wireframes and functional requirement documents.
• Work closely with development, QA, and product stakeholders throughout the delivery cycle.
• Take part in Agile activities such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Show completed features and solutions to client-side teams.
• Assist with the integration of AI features into current enterprise products.

Experience and profile sought

The company is looking for a Business Analyst with roughly 5 to 12 years of overall experience, including at least 3 to 4 years specifically in a Business Analyst role. The candidate should have strong exposure to international clients, and experience working with US clients will be considered an advantage.

Applicants should have worked on enterprise software projects with teams of 10 or more members and should bring at least 2 years of experience in Agile software development. The role requires strong capability in converting business needs into functional specifications and software design inputs, along with the ability to work independently and connect business expectations with technical implementation.

Tools and skills

• Practical experience with Figma, Balsamiq, and Jira.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Ability to run client demos and requirement walkthroughs.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
• Comfort working independently and coordinating across business and technical teams.

Preferred knowledge

• Exposure to requirements in IoT, utilities, or connected devices will be beneficial.
• Knowledge of the Korean language will be an added advantage.
