Business Analyst

Role Overview

This opportunity is for a mid-level Business Analyst to assist with capturing requirements, documenting processes, and validating stakeholder inputs for a ServiceNow ITSM transformation initiative. Reporting to the Senior Business Analyst, the position will help with workshops, user story preparation, and user acceptance testing support throughout the programme.

Compensation and Engagement

The role offers a salary of 25,280 AED per month. It is a 6-month contract based in the UAE with a hybrid working setup.

Key Responsibilities

• Help facilitate requirements workshops and document workflows and user stories clearly.
• Create and keep updated business requirement documents, process maps, and records of stakeholder approvals.
• Support traceability of requirements so that approved needs are properly reflected in the configured solution.
• Assist with UAT preparation, including drafting test scenarios, coordinating testers, and recording defects.
• Work with subject matter experts from IT, HR, and Procurement to validate workflow needs.
• Help prepare Service Catalogue documentation, including item descriptions and approval steps.
• Support the development of training materials and knowledge transfer content under the guidance of the Senior BA.
• Keep programme documents current, including meeting minutes, action trackers, and requirement change logs.

Required Experience and Skills

Applicants should have at least 3 years of business analysis experience on IT or enterprise platform programmes. A strong understanding of ITSM processes and ITIL-based service management practices is required. The role also calls for experience in workshop support, requirements documentation, and clear technical writing. Candidates should be based in the UAE and able to work onsite as needed. Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools, including Visio or a similar process-mapping tool, is expected. Strong communication and interpersonal ability is important for working with stakeholders at different levels.

Preferred Exposure

Useful additional experience includes working with ServiceNow ITSM or ITAM configuration or implementation, coordinating UAT on enterprise software programmes, and using Agile or iterative delivery methods.
