Job description
Role overview
This is a remote Business Analyst opportunity based in the United States, offered through a hiring partner that handles applications and the following stages of the process. The position supports a healthcare organization focused on improving performance in value-based care operations.
The role is centered on using data to improve day-to-day execution, strengthen reporting, and support operational decision-making. It combines business analysis, process improvement, and project coordination in a collaborative environment where insights are used to drive better care delivery and stronger outcomes.
What you will do
- Review quantitative and qualitative information to evaluate operational performance across the Practice Success function.
- Work with leadership to surface patterns, findings, and improvement opportunities from data.
- Help create and refine dashboards and reporting tools alongside business intelligence partners.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and visual materials that clearly communicate findings to stakeholders and senior leaders.
- Keep project plans, trackers, and supporting documentation current for major initiatives.
- Monitor tasks, milestones, risks, and dependencies across several workstreams to support on-time delivery.
- Watch project schedules closely and raise concerns about delays, risks, or resource gaps when needed.
- Document current business processes and identify inefficiencies or areas where workflows can be improved.
- Support coordination across teams so communication stays clear and execution stays aligned.
- Assist operational leaders by organizing next steps, tracking commitments, and following through on priorities.
What the employer is looking for
The ideal candidate has a strong analytical mindset, excellent organization, and the ability to turn complex information into practical recommendations. You should be comfortable managing multiple priorities, presenting data to both technical and non-technical audiences, and working independently while staying connected with cross-functional teams.
A background in healthcare analytics or a data-focused business analyst role is important, along with interest in systems thinking, process improvement, and operational efficiency. Experience with value-based care and electronic health record environments is especially relevant.
Tools and experience
Strong Excel skills are required, along with hands-on experience using tools such as Salesforce, Tableau, Visio, and Google Workspace. Exposure to project and collaboration platforms like Jira, Monday.com, or Miro is considered a plus.
Benefits and compensation
- Flexible remote working setup with adaptable schedules.
- Medical, dental, and vision coverage with a substantial employer contribution.
- Paid time off, including PTO, holidays, and volunteer days.
- Paid parental leave.
- 401(k) retirement plan with employer match.
- Stock options as part of the overall compensation package.
- Support for education and professional growth.
- Sabbatical opportunity after extended service.
- Mission-led culture focused on improving healthcare outcomes.
