Overview
Eurobase is hiring a Business Analyst in London to act as the link between business stakeholders and technical teams. In this role, you will gather needs, assess requirements, and turn them into practical insights that help shape product, process, and system improvements. Your work will support the successful delivery of projects by keeping business objectives and project outcomes closely aligned.
Core responsibilities
- Evaluate client needs against the current capabilities of the company’s insurance products and determine where configuration is sufficient and where custom work is needed.
- Help develop the Synergy2 roadmap by suggesting enhancements and creating clear requirements documentation when necessary.
- Partner with the pre-sales team to prepare system demos and handle ad hoc responses to RFI and RFP questions.
- Apply a strong understanding of insurance and reinsurance back-office operations alongside solid business analysis expertise.
- Support pre-sales activity with business and product input, ensuring prospect requirements are clearly understood and mapped to an appropriate business solution.
Candidate profile
- Current, in-depth knowledge of the insurance sector, ideally in reinsurance, large commercial insurance, and/or the London Market.
- Hands-on experience with insurance software, preferably policy administration system solutions.
- Prior experience working as a Business Analyst or in an equivalent position.
- Exposure to operations in underwriting, claims, reinsurance, and/or accounting functions such as financial control and credit control.
- Familiarity with London Market EDI, Blueprint Two, and/or Ruschlikon.
- Background in business analysis across the full project lifecycle.
- Comfortable working in a structured setting and following quality management standards.
- Experience gained in a software house environment.
- Strong commercial judgment and business awareness.
- Well-developed planning and organisational skills.
