Role overview
This contract opportunity is for Business Analysts based in Dublin, Ireland, to contribute to the design and rollout of improved data architecture. The work centers on strengthening risk data aggregation, reporting capability, and control enhancements as part of the RDARR AIP initiative.
The assignment is expected to begin with an initial duration of 6 months and follows a hybrid working arrangement.
Key responsibilities
- Review the existing data architecture and pinpoint gaps in infrastructure, data availability, data quality, and control coverage.
- Translate business needs and data needs into requirements that align with BCBS 239 expectations.
- Assist in shaping solutions such as a regulatory reporting engine, data lineage capabilities, and improvements to customer and collateral data.
- Prepare clear documentation for business processes and highlight areas where automation can improve efficiency.
- Work closely with teams across Risk, Finance, and Technology to progress delivery.
- Contribute to enhancements in data quality, reconciliation processes, and control frameworks.
Required experience and knowledge
Applicants should bring strong experience in data analysis, preferably gained in a financial services setting. Exposure to data architecture, data quality, or reporting environments is important.
Understanding of Risk and Finance data, along with regulatory reporting practices, will be a significant advantage. Familiarity with BCBS 239 and RDARR principles is desirable.
Strong written documentation skills and the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders are also essential.
