About the Opportunity
This is an opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to join Bailey Abbott’s business analysis capability in Perth. The role sits within an active community of practice, offering access to shared experience, guidance, and professional growth while maintaining the stability of a permanent position.
In this consulting role, you will work with customers across a range of industries to review business processes, gather and refine requirements, and develop practical solutions that improve operations and support business goals.
What You’ll Do
- Work closely with clients to understand their goals, challenges, and business opportunities.
- Review current business processes, systems, and workflows to identify improvement areas.
- Collect, document, and assess detailed requirements from stakeholders, keeping them aligned with business objectives.
- Track requirements throughout their full lifecycle, including checking accuracy, confirming validity, and maintaining traceability.
- Lead workshops, interviews, and focus groups to obtain key insights and information.
- Partner with technical teams to convert business needs into technical specifications.
- Support innovation by examining business processes and identifying better ways of working with the client.
What We’re Looking For
- Prior experience working as a Business Analyst.
- Background in consulting, or a strong desire to work in a genuine consulting environment.
- Well-developed analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Strong verbal and written communication along with interpersonal skills.
- Experience gathering requirements and analysing business processes.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with business analysis methods and tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related discipline.
