Role Overview
PwC India is hiring a Business Analyst for its Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh location. The role focuses on analysing business needs, supporting process improvement, and working closely with technical and business teams to shape effective solutions.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree is needed in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, Public Policy, or a closely related field.
- An MBA or an equivalent postgraduate qualification is preferred.
- Full-time qualification is preferred.
Experience
- Applicants should have 3 to 5 years of experience in business analysis, systems development, or data analytics.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT environments is expected.
- Experience working on e-Governance initiatives or with state/central government departments is strongly preferred.
Methodologies and Frameworks
- Familiarity with business analysis approaches such as Agile, Scrum, or Lean Six Sigma is required.
- Knowledge of established frameworks like BABOK or PMI-PBA is preferred.
Analysis and Documentation Skills
- Experience in gathering and managing requirements through interviews, workshops, surveys, and user stories is important.
- Ability to model and analyse business processes using BPMN is expected.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or Enterprise Architect is useful.
Data and Technical Skills
- Working knowledge of data analysis and dashboarding tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio is needed to interpret and present insights.
- Strong SQL skills are required for querying relational databases.
- Experience with tools like SQL Server Management Studio or Oracle SQL Developer is an advantage.
- Understanding of software development life cycles and experience collaborating with development teams is important.
Project and Automation Knowledge
- Knowledge of project management concepts and practical delivery methods is expected.
- Awareness of business process automation tools is desirable.
