Role Overview

As a Bus Person at Bayview Cafe, you will help keep the dining area clean, organized, and ready for guests while supporting beverage service and table maintenance throughout the shift.

Key Duties

• Welcome guests at the tables assigned to your area.
• Take beverage requests and provide timely drink service or refills.
• Clear plates, glassware, silverware, and other items from tables and place them into bus tubs of about 40 pounds.
• Prepare tables to the required restaurant standard.
• Move loaded bus tubs to the dishwashing area in the kitchen.
• Keep side stations and other work areas neat and sanitary.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar setting is preferred.
• You must be capable of lifting, moving, and carrying up to 40 pounds.
• This role requires standing and/or walking for the full shift.
• You should be comfortable carrying and serving drinks on a handheld tray.
• Strong guest service and communication abilities are required.
• Any licenses or certifications needed for the role must be obtained and kept current.
