Role overview
This is a remote hourly contract opportunity for a Bulgarian language specialist. The position is based in Germany and requires a weekly commitment of 10 to 40 hours.
What you’ll do
- Check, refine, and proofread Bulgarian documents to improve grammar, readability, and cultural fit.
- Translate material between English and Bulgarian while preserving tone, meaning, and context.
- Work closely with internal team members to produce high-quality written and spoken content that supports project objectives.
- Apply local language knowledge to keep content accurate and aligned with regional usage and best practices.
- Help create and maintain glossaries, terminology references, and style guidelines.
- Join online meetings and contribute ideas to resolve language-related issues.
- Keep brand messaging and communication consistent across all deliverables.
What’s required
- Bulgarian fluency at native or near-native level, with strong speaking and writing ability.
- Proven background in translation, localization, or language quality review.
- Careful eye for detail and the ability to produce polished, accurate work.
- Comfort using digital collaboration tools and working effectively in a remote setup.
- Capability to handle several assignments at once without lowering quality.
- Good interpersonal communication skills and the ability to explain complex ideas clearly.
