Job Overview

Dyckerhoff Beton GmbH & Co. KG, specifically our Betontechnologie branch in the Thuringia region, is seeking a full-time Building Materials Tester (m/f/d) to join our team at the earliest possible opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Independently conduct building material tests, with a primary focus on concrete, adhering to relevant standards and testing regulations.
• Perform independent sampling and testing of concrete to determine fresh and hardened concrete properties at the ready-mix concrete plant and on construction sites.
• Conduct independent sampling and testing of concrete raw materials, such as aggregates.
• Independently evaluate test results and meticulously document them, both manually and electronically using various software, including Excel and laboratory information systems.
• Take ownership of daily planning and contribute to projects focused on developing specialized solutions for demanding construction tasks.

Requirements

• Possess a completed vocational training as a Building Materials Tester or a trade in the construction sector.
• Ideally, have initial professional experience in building materials testing, particularly in concrete, or in the construction trade.
• Hold a valid Class B driver's license.
• Demonstrate physical resilience to handle weights and environmental factors.
• Exhibit flexibility regarding work hours, adapting to task requirements.
• Possess a good comprehension for recognizing interrelationships and a proactive approach to action.
• Maintain a meticulous and focused work ethic to achieve high-quality results.
• Exhibit qualities such as commitment, team orientation, reliability, and flexibility.
