Job description
Role overview
Verisma is looking for a brand designer who can take ownership of hands-on design work across marketing, sales enablement, executive communications, events, social channels, and digital touchpoints. The role is centered on producing polished creative that keeps the brand consistent while supporting business growth.
You will work closely with the corporate branding agency and the web agency, and you’ll be expected to deliver high-quality visuals quickly in a setting where priorities can change fast. A major part of the role involves presentation design, including materials for leadership and board-level communication, often with very short turnaround times. The position also calls for regular interaction with C-level executives, so professionalism, confidence, and the ability to absorb feedback are essential.
Brand management and visual standards
- Keep brand guidelines current and help strengthen the company’s visual identity across every creative output.
- Partner with the branding agency and web agency to maintain a unified look and feel.
- Make sure all design work is clear, consistent, and tells the right story.
- Maintain detailed brand documentation covering approved typefaces, colors, imagery, icons, logo usage, and design rules for tools such as Canva and PowerPoint templates.
Executive and sales presentation design
- Support board-level PowerPoint work and take on a significant volume of presentation design assignments that require strong polish and narrative structure.
- Develop and maintain branded sales assets such as pitch decks, one-pagers, PDFs, and PowerPoint presentations aligned with brand standards.
- Create high-impact proposals and pitch materials that help drive revenue and represent the company professionally.
- Turn complex information into visuals that are easy to understand and engaging to view.
- Act as an internal design partner for teams that need presentation or graphic support.
Social media brand growth
- Design social graphics that build recognition and consistency for the brand.
- Work with content and demand generation teams to increase the volume of social creative.
- Create reusable templates that support fast production of social content.
- Use performance learnings to improve the visual approach over time.
Cross-functional creative work
- Produce assets for campaigns, product launches, and integrated marketing efforts across digital, print, infographics, and multimedia formats.
- Design booth graphics, trade show displays, and conference materials that create a strong and cohesive event presence.
- Build landing page visuals and web graphics in coordination with the web agency.
Project and workflow management
- Handle urgent requests while also managing longer-term creative initiatives.
- Operate effectively in a fast-moving environment where same-day or next-day deadlines are common, especially for executive and sales presentation work.
- Coordinate with agencies and internal stakeholders to keep work aligned and delivered on schedule.
- Set up efficient workflows, organized file structures, and solid brand governance practices.
- Maintain quality control and ensure brand consistency across all deliverables.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communication, marketing, or a related area, plus at least 5 years of experience in graphic or brand design.
- A portfolio is required and will be reviewed against B2B IT industry expectations; it should show range, strong enterprise-level design capability, and examples such as product sheets, sales slide decks, event booth graphics, and digital or print advertisements.
- Advanced expertise in PowerPoint and Canva, along with strong skills in Adobe Creative Cloud tools including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Working familiarity with Figma or a similar prototyping platform.
- Experience creating creative for social media and digital advertising.
- Experience with event graphics, trade show materials, large-format print, and landing page visuals.
- Exposure to healthcare, health IT, or broader B2B environments is preferred.
- Comfort working at speed and delivering refined work under tight deadlines, including immediate or next-day turnaround for executive and sales presentations.
- Ability to work directly and independently with senior executives, manage feedback well, and communicate with confidence and professionalism.
