About the Role

The Hawkers Club is hiring a Brand & Communications Manager to support the company’s external presence, deepen stakeholder trust, and contribute to strategic expansion efforts. This position blends communications, research, public affairs, and business strategy, and works closely with senior leaders to build thought leadership, handle outside relationships, and surface opportunities for speaking, media coverage, and other visibility-driven initiatives.

The Hawker’s Club is an eCommerce consultancy focused on Amazon Vendor Central, receivables recovery, profitability improvement, and growth strategy. The team supports brands of many sizes, from newer businesses to well-known names, as they tackle complex challenges and find opportunities across Amazon and the wider eCommerce landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute communication plans that support company goals and priorities.
  • Track industry movements, policy updates, and market shifts to shape outreach and engagement efforts.
  • Produce executive messaging, thought leadership pieces, articles, presentations, and other public-facing content.
  • Build and maintain relationships with journalists, trade groups, conference teams, and strategic partners.
  • Spot and manage opportunities for speaking engagements, awards, press outreach, and partnership activity.
  • Research and evaluate avenues that can improve the organization’s growth, visibility, and influence.
  • Keep brand messaging consistent across digital channels, company communications, and outside publications.
  • Measure communication effectiveness and suggest ways to improve stakeholder engagement and visibility.
  • Help leadership communicate strategic priorities and initiatives to external audiences.

Requirements

  • Excellent command of written and spoken communication.
  • Strong ability to research, analyze, and think critically.
  • Comfort translating complex information into clear, concise, persuasive content.
  • Well-developed organizational skills and careful attention to detail.
  • Genuine interest in business strategy, public affairs, communications, media, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Graduate-level study in public administration, communications, public policy, business, or a similar field is preferred.
