Job overview
This role is for a BIM Modeller focused on plumbing work within HDB projects in Singapore. The core responsibility is creating and managing BIM models, with some occasional support for straightforward site coordination tasks.
Compensation and benefits
The monthly pay is offered in the range of SGD 3,500 to SGD 6,000. In addition, the package includes performance-based monthly pay of 0% to 20%, a monthly medical allowance equal to 2% of pay, and an annual salary increment.
Key responsibilities
- Build and develop 3D BIM models for plumbing systems.
- Prepare shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings.
- Make sure the models follow HDB requirements and project specifications.
- Work with consultants, the main contractor, and other trades to identify and close out clashes.
- Revise and keep BIM models current across the project lifecycle.
- Assist with submission drawings and supporting documentation.
- Offer basic help to the site team when needed.
- Support the resolution of drawing mismatches and site coordination issues.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in BIM modelling for plumbing-related work.
- Hands-on experience with HDB projects is required.
- Strong working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, and other BIM tools.
- Good coordination and communication abilities.
- Self-directed and capable of working without close supervision.
- A degree in Construction, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a closely related discipline is preferred.
- Familiarity with Singapore construction standards and the submission workflow is an advantage.
