About the Company
The hiring organisation is an established Irish managed service provider that designs and delivers IT solutions for businesses that need dependable, secure and scalable technology setups. It works with clients in several industries and is known for strong technical capability, responsive service and long-term client relationships. With its activity in the public sector growing, the company is looking to bring in an experienced Bid Manager.
Role Overview
In this position, you will report directly to the CEO and take ownership of public sector tender activity from the first opportunity review through to final submission and award follow-up.
Key Responsibilities
- Track eTenders.gov.ie and other procurement platforms to identify relevant tender opportunities.
- Oversee the complete bid process, including deciding whether to pursue an opportunity, planning timelines, preparing content and submitting responses.
- Work closely with technical, commercial and finance colleagues to produce strong and accurate tender submissions.
- Develop and maintain a central repository of bid materials such as case studies, company policies and supporting documents.
- Manage OGP framework applications and handle clarification requests and presentation stages after submission.
- Prepare updates and reports on pipeline status, success rates and overall bid results.
Experience and Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience preparing and submitting public sector tenders in Ireland.
- A demonstrated history of securing public sector contracts in Ireland.
- Good working knowledge of eTenders.gov.ie and OGP framework procedures.
- Strong writing ability with excellent attention to detail.
- Commercially minded with the ability to juggle several deadlines at once.
