Role Overview
Real Canadian Superstore is hiring a Beauty Manager in Regina, Saskatchewan. This position blends department leadership with hands-on beauty expertise, focusing on team development, customer experience, and sales growth in the beauty and cosmetics area.
In this role, you will lead the beauty department to perform at a high level while also acting as a beauty advisor for customers. You will help shoppers choose products, understand application methods, and stay informed about current trends so they can make confident purchases that suit their needs.
Key Accountabilities
- Run the beauty department’s daily operations and keep work flowing smoothly.
- Help the department achieve or surpass sales and profitability targets.
- Control departmental spending, shrink, and labour costs.
- Stay in regular contact with store leadership and other department managers to support store-wide objectives.
- Maintain a positive sales approach and actively support repeat business and customer loyalty.
- Promote beauty products by sharing product details, explaining new or existing items, and carrying out demonstrations.
- Coach and develop colleagues in customer service, product knowledge, and merchandising standards.
- Keep product knowledge up to date through workshops, education sessions, and online learning resources such as The Academy, vendor schools, YouTube, and similar tools.
- Make sure stock is properly displayed, priced, and replenished.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized department for customers and colleagues.
- Continuously look for strong talent to strengthen the team.
- Lead, support, and inspire colleagues to improve productivity, engagement, and retention.
- Stay focused on high merchandising and operational standards.
- Help build diverse teams and a workplace culture that supports inclusion and belonging.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate brings retail leadership experience, preferably from a beauty department, along with strong selling ability and a consultative approach to customer service. You should be comfortable advising customers on cosmetics, skincare, and makeup application, including one-on-one consultations and product demonstrations.
You will need strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills, plus the ability to manage time well and work effectively with both individuals and groups. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, are required, and familiarity with retail operations such as merchandising, inventory control, and customer service is important.
Physical and Scheduling Requirements
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to remain standing for long periods.
- Must be punctual and dependable.
- Comfortable working in a fragrance-rich environment.
- Ability to climb a ladder.
- Ability to bend and stretch when stocking shelves.

Compensation
