About the role
ATLANTIC Hotel Heidelberg is a newly opened hotel in Heidelberg that launched in March 2024. It is the first hotel tower in the city built to passive-house standards. The property sits right next to the train station and across from the Heidelberg Congress Center, within easy reach of Bahnstadt and with direct S-Bahn access to the old town and the castle.
The 15-storey hotel features 310 stylish rooms and suites, a wellness and fitness area, and 8 modern event rooms with natural daylight for private and business occasions. A standout feature is the 350 m² ballroom on the 13th floor with wide views over the city. On the 15th floor, the spacious food and beverage area includes a restaurant, rooftop bar, and adjoining terrace where guests, locals, and visitors can enjoy food, drinks, and the panoramic skyline.
The hotel is looking for a Barista (w/m/d) in full-time employment, available immediately or by agreement.
Your role
- Help shape and develop the deli concept with active input.
- Deliver a smooth, warm, and guest-focused service experience in the deli lounge café.
- Prepare high-quality coffee and tea specialties with care and a strong sense of quality.
- Support and train new colleagues by passing on your knowledge and experience.

- Previous experience in service or in a barista role.
- A confident, approachable manner and good judgment in dealing with guests and different situations.
- A structured, dependable way of working, even during busy periods.
- Strong teamwork, commitment, and a practical hands-on attitude.

Compensation
Pay is based on the remuneration tariff agreement, pay groups 1 to 3, with gross monthly earnings ranging from €2,383.00 to €2,958.00, including above-tariff pay depending on qualifications and professional experience.
