Job description
Role overview
in.gredienti is hiring two full-time Barista / Service Staff team members for its late shift at Berlin Brandenburg Airport, Terminal 1. This role is based in Berlin and is suited to people who enjoy fast-paced hospitality, guest interaction, and working in a lively international setting.
Working hours
The shift runs from 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM.
What the job is like
This position can be physically demanding and varied. You may need to handle boxes, stay on your feet for long periods, and manage busy or stressful guest situations. The environment is dynamic, international, and different every day.
What the employer is looking for
They want people who are genuinely interested in gastronomy and customer service, dependable, self-motivated, team-oriented, and ready to take responsibility. A strong work ethic is important, and this role is not intended for someone looking for an easy, low-effort job.
Guest interaction
Part of the role includes taking orders and speaking with guests in German.
Airport ID application requirements
You must live in Berlin to apply for the airport ID process. The documentation requirements include a complete and uninterrupted residence history for the last 10 years, a full employment history for the last 5 years, and official proof from the relevant country for any work done outside the European Union during that period.
If you have spent more than 6 months living or working outside the EU within the last 5 years, you will also need a police clearance certificate from that country.
Required documents
- Registration certificate (Meldebescheinigung / Anmeldung) issued no more than 4 weeks ago
- Copy of passport, including the front, back, and cover pages
Airport ID processing time
The airport ID procedure usually takes about 4 to 8 weeks, though it may take longer depending on your background and whether all paperwork is complete. Candidates who have lived continuously within the European Union for the past 10 years may receive their airport ID more quickly, but the final timeline is decided entirely by the airport authorities.
Applicant responsibility
Applicants are responsible for gathering and submitting every required document on time.
