About the Role
This position is suited to someone who enjoys helping people and values genuine interaction. As a Banking Consultant, you will support customers with everyday banking, build trusted relationships, and help them navigate both simple transactions and important financial decisions. You’ll also help make banking feel clear, accessible, and reassuring, including by introducing customers to digital tools and services.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide approachable, hands-on support for routine banking needs.
- Take time to understand each customer’s priorities and adapt your service accordingly.
- Explain and promote digital banking tools and online services in a simple, helpful way.
- Contribute to a supportive environment where teamwork and ongoing learning are part of everyday work.
- Help maintain a culture that values community, development, and diversity.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assist them with a wide range of banking queries and transactions.
- Have thoughtful conversations to better understand customer needs.
- Guide customers in using digital channels and self-service banking options.
- Support tasks such as account openings, personal detail updates, and product exploration.
- Follow compliance and safety practices to help protect the bank and its customers.
- Work collaboratively with the team and celebrate shared successes.

Employment: Permanent, full-time
Working days: Monday to Friday

To do well in this role, you should bring strong customer focus, good communication skills, and the ability to adapt in a busy environment. Retail experience, familiarity with technology and digital channels, teamwork, and an understanding of compliance will all be helpful. You do not need to meet every requirement; a growth mindset and willingness to learn are highly valued.
