About the company

The employer is a Canadian, family-owned bottling business that manufactures, distributes, merchandises, and sells popular beverages across Canada. The organization operates coast to coast with thousands of employees, numerous sales and distribution centres, and multiple manufacturing facilities. Its goal is to build value for employees, customers, consumers, and communities while strengthening a collaborative and inclusive culture.

Key duties

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering products locally, handling the truck load safely, placing products in customer locations, and maintaining professional conduct with both customers and colleagues. You will also be expected to follow company and store rules for equipment use, safety, backroom standards, display areas, and replenishment.

Qualifications

Candidates should hold a commercial licence with air endorsement, such as Class 1 or AZ, and must have a clean driving history with no major violations in the past three years. The role also calls for at least one year of commercial driving experience and one to three years of general work experience. Local delivery background is preferred.

Physical demands

This job requires the ability to repeatedly lift, carry, and position items weighing up to 50 lbs (22 kg) above shoulder height without help. Applicants must also be able to push and pull manual or powered equipment, such as a pallet jack or hand truck, with product loads for at least 100 yards without assistance.

Why consider this opportunity

The position offers the chance to join a local, family-owned business connected to a well-known national brand. The company supports employee growth through training and free learning resources, offers referral rewards and recognition programs, encourages community involvement and volunteerism, and is committed to sustainability initiatives including reducing waste, lowering emissions, and using water responsibly.

Additional information

The employer states that it is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion and welcomes candidates from all backgrounds. Applicants are encouraged to apply even if they do not meet every listed qualification. The company also notes that this posting is for an existing vacancy unless stated otherwise.

Hiring and compliance

The recruitment process is conducted by people rather than AI tools. Candidates who need accommodation or support during hiring may contact the employer by phone or email. Any offer of employment depends on successful background clearance through a third-party provider, which may include criminal record screening, employment verification, education verification, and review of the driver's abstract, depending on the role.
