Job description
Job Summary
Scotiabank’s Non-Branch Sales Force in Jamaica is looking for driven, target-focused professionals with strong relationship-building skills to join the External Sales Team as Automobile Financing Specialists. The position suits people who are self-directed, enjoy consultative selling, and work well with business partners.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with automobile dealers and other industry partners.
- Promote and sell automobile loans as the main product focus.
- Offer unsecured loans, cash-secured loans, and credit cards as part of the sales portfolio.
- Identify new business opportunities proactively and support the full sales cycle from start to finish.
- Deliver assigned sales goals while ensuring a strong customer experience.
Education, Experience and Other Requirements
- A minimum of 5 CXC subjects is required, including Mathematics and English.
- At least 2 years of experience in sales, financial services, or relationship management is an advantage.
- Applicants should have strong networking, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
- The role requires the capability to work independently in a performance-driven environment.
- Working knowledge of retail banking products, especially loans and credit cards, is preferred.
- Candidates must have dedicated, unlimited access to a vehicle.
