Role Overview

The Automation Engineer Team Lead will take charge of the technical execution of automation projects. The position involves direct project implementation work, preparing I/O lists, assisting with testing activities, producing documentation, and handling commissioning at client sites while maintaining a strong focus on quality and ongoing technical development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out assigned project activities with a consistent focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Develop and update I/O lists for automation projects.
  • Support Factory Acceptance Tests and Site Acceptance Tests as part of project delivery.
  • Manage on-site commissioning activities for installed systems.
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain clear project documentation.
  • Keep building technical capability through continuous learning and exposure to new tools and processes.

Skills and Experience

  • Solid understanding of PLC and HMI concepts, ideally with experience in Siemens TIA Portal.
  • Careful attention to detail and a strong quality-first mindset.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and working methods.
  • Good troubleshooting ability and a proactive, practical approach.

Education and Eligibility

Applicants should hold a B.Tech / B.E. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) or Mechatronics.
