AutoCAD Trainer (2D & 3D)

Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced AutoCAD trainer who can run effective learning programs in both 2D drafting and 3D design. The role involves preparing training content, leading in-person and online classes, evaluating learner progress, and helping participants build practical skills that match current industry expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead AutoCAD training sessions covering 2D and 3D topics for learners at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels.
• Create, refresh, and organize course materials, presentations, practice tasks, and assessments.
• Deliver training in classroom settings, virtual formats, and corporate environments.
• Demonstrate tools and workflows through practical, hands-on workshops.
• Assess trainees using assignments, projects, and examinations.
• Guide and assist learners throughout their training journey.
• Adapt course content to suit client needs and specific industry demands.
• Keep current with new AutoCAD functions, tools, and best practices used in the field.
• Track attendance, trainee feedback, and training documentation.
• Support learners who are preparing for Autodesk certification exams.
• Work with the Training Department to plan and coordinate training schedules.
• Maintain strong training standards and a positive learner experience.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Drafting Technology, or a similar discipline.
• At least 3 to 5 years of hands-on AutoCAD experience.
• Strong command of AutoCAD 2D drafting, including layouts, dimensions, and annotations.
• Strong command of AutoCAD 3D modeling, rendering, and visualization.
• Prior experience in training, teaching, mentoring, or coaching is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication along with presentation ability.
• Comfort using Microsoft Office tools.
• Ability to explain technical ideas clearly to learners with different experience levels.
• Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP) or Autodesk Certified Instructor (ACI) is preferred.
• Exposure to Revit, Civil 3D, 3ds Max, SketchUp, or similar software is an advantage.
• Background in corporate training or professional development is preferred.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is useful.
• Arabic language ability will be considered an added advantage.
