Role Overview
This position is a great starting point for someone who wants to begin a career in collision repair. Many current managers, technicians, and estimators at Kirmac started in detailer roles.
The role gives you exposure to modern body shop operations, including the care and handling of today’s high-tech vehicles such as EVs and models equipped with advanced driver-assist systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Wash, clean, and ready vehicles inside and out after repairs, including EVs, hybrids, and vehicles with ADAS features.
- Check vehicles for finishing quality and help confirm they meet company standards.
- Support technicians and other team members with day-to-day shop tasks when needed.
- Move vehicles safely within the shop and on the lot.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
- Represent the company in a courteous, professional manner.
What You Bring
No prior experience is required; training will be provided. The right candidate is someone who is motivated, dependable, and willing to learn.
- A strong desire to learn and put in consistent effort.
- Good attention to detail and a positive mindset.
- The ability to work well with others and follow direction.
- A valid British Columbia driver’s licence; an N licence is acceptable.
- An interest in vehicles or skilled trades is an advantage.

Pay and Hiring Details
This is an hourly role with a hiring range of CAD 20 to CAD 24 per hour.
