Audit Senior Consultant

Role overview

Deloitte is seeking an Audit Senior Consultant to join its Audit and Assurance practice in Pristina, Kosovo. In this position, you will help lead engagement teams, deliver audit and assurance work to a high standard, and make sure assignments are completed in line with required methodologies and professional expectations.

What you will do

• Take ownership of audit engagements from planning through fieldwork and completion, including research on accounting and auditing matters and review of financial statements and related disclosures.
• Organize engagement activity, keep work moving on schedule, and supervise junior team members to maintain quality and efficiency throughout the audit process.
• Serve as a main contact for clients and internal stakeholders, keeping deliverables aligned with expectations and helping solve complex issues.
• Support team growth through coaching, review, feedback, and day-to-day mentoring that encourages accountability and continuous improvement.
• Maintain strong client relationships, communicate findings clearly, and contribute ideas that improve processes and support innovation within the practice.

What you need

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Financial Mathematics, or another relevant discipline.
• ACCA, SCAAK, or another local accounting/audit qualification is preferred.
• Three to five years of audit experience.
• Strong command of English; knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
• Solid academic or professional grounding in Economics and Finance.
• An intermediate level of capability in audit analytics and data visualization.
• Ability to consult with more senior engagement team members when issues or risks arise.
• Comfort using management tools and techniques to meet work plan expectations.
• Commitment to ethical conduct, professional standards, independence, quality control, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Working knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards and International Auditing Standards.
