Role overview
Brinsworth Academy is looking to appoint an Attendance Officer to join its pastoral support team. This position focuses on tracking student attendance and punctuality, while also working directly with families to help remove barriers to learning and improve access to education for young people, particularly those who may need extra support.
The post is based at Brinsworth Academy in Brinsworth, England, and is offered on a permanent, full-time basis during term time, plus 2 INSET days.

You will help monitor attendance patterns and punctuality, and play an active part in supporting students so they can make the most of their educational opportunities. The role requires close collaboration with families and other staff to support vulnerable pupils and encourage positive engagement with school life.

Salary and contract details
The role sits at Band E of the School Support Staff Spine, with a full-time equivalent salary of £26,403 to £28,142 and an actual salary of £22,950 to £24,461 per annum. A recruitment and retention allowance may be offered to an exceptional candidate.
This is a permanent post working full time during term time only, plus 2 INSET days.
