Role Overview
COMMAND is hiring a motivated Associate / Strategist to join its fully remote team. This position is suited to someone who is energized by complex technology and sees communications as a powerful tool for helping businesses grow and succeed.
What the Role Involves
- Support communications campaigns and day-to-day client work in a fast-moving environment.
- Work closely with client teams as a dependable partner who can handle quick turnaround requests.
- Manage tasks efficiently while balancing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Contribute ideas and practical solutions when navigating challenges.
- Collaborate smoothly with internal teammates and outside partners.
What You Need to Bring
- Between 1 and 4 years of experience in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism, or a similar field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with careful grammar and language use.
- The ability to adapt messages for different audiences such as internal teams, media contacts, and external partners.
- Solid organization and time management skills to keep several projects moving on schedule.
- A team-first approach, plus the initiative to solve problems and help the broader group succeed.
- An interest in understanding business and technology media and how to shape effective media outreach.
- Comfort working in a fully remote setting and communicating clearly through digital tools.
- Some experience participating in client meetings and producing deliverables; existing media relationships are helpful but not required.
- Willingness to take on new responsibilities, expand skills, and learn from experience.
