About the Role
Ecolab is hiring an Associate Production Specialist to support production work at its Dammam plant in Saudi Arabia. This role focuses on day-to-day line operations across preparation, filling, packaging, and tote washing. The person in this position must be able to handle a wide range of production tasks, except for material handling, mixing, and bulk receiving/shipping.

Key Duties
- Check mixing, filling, and packaging instructions before a production run starts, and confirm that the right raw materials, packaging supplies, and PPE are available.
- Set up the production line according to the work instructions and request help from a supervisor or maintenance technician when adjustments are needed.
- Run production equipment continuously, including fillers, sleeve labelers, pumps, filters, mixers, cappers, tape machines, bar coders, inkjet printers, palletizers, and lid presses, while making required adjustments for weight, closure quality, and other specifications.
- Carry out all line activities such as loading empty containers, labeling, mixing, filling, capping, generating barcodes, sampling, and keeping the work area orderly.
- Take part in improvement initiatives such as Kaizen events, 5S, TPM, loss analysis, and special projects.
- Look for ways to reduce waste and improve processes on an ongoing basis.
- Record quality and productivity data accurately and on time, including weights, basic quality checks, and results entered on paper or in systems.
- Follow safety, quality, and production work instructions, memos, and SOPs.
- Respond appropriately to safety observations, quality issues, and equipment defects or performance concerns.
- Complete mixing, filling, and packaging work to the required standards or better.
- Support changeovers, including collecting wash water when required.
- Keep the production area clean, organized, and safe.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in a chemical plant or warehouse.
- Basic English reading and writing ability.
- Comfort with basic arithmetic, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, percentages, and decimals.
- Forklift driving ability.
- No immigration sponsorship is available for this position.
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Must pass a drug screening and physical examination.
Preferred Experience
- Training capability and willingness to master required skills, including hazardous material safety and DOT training.
- Ability to interpret and monitor safety, quality, and productivity metrics such as run rates, fill weights, and averages.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Experience with reaction chemistry.
- Background in Total Production Management (TPM) and continuous improvement systems.
- Strong attention to detail, solid communication skills, and a team-oriented approach.
