Job description

About the Company

CareTalk Health is a fully remote virtual medical practice serving patients across the United States. The company works with Medicare Advantage plans to support Annual Wellness Visits and help close care gaps, aiming to deliver care in a way that feels simple, dependable, and personal.

About the Role

CareTalk Health is seeking a resourceful and detail-oriented Associate Product Manager to help build the products and internal tools that support its virtual care model. This is a hands-on role in an early-stage environment, working closely with technology, clinical operations, marketing, and company leadership across the product lifecycle.

The position is suited to someone with a few years of product-related experience who is eager to take ownership, turn ideas into execution-ready plans, and grow with a fast-moving organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with technology, clinical operations, marketing, and leadership teams from discovery through launch and iterative improvement.
  • Convert business objectives, user insights, and stakeholder feedback into structured requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Help maintain the product roadmap by supporting prioritization, tracking progress, and keeping teams aligned on direction and rationale.
  • Carry out user interviews, customer discovery, market research, and competitive benchmarking to guide product choices.
  • Collect, organize, and interpret product data while supporting the definition and tracking of success metrics.
  • Assist with day-to-day delivery by joining sprint planning, drafting and refining tickets, and removing blockers for the team.
  • Gather input from customers, clinical staff, sales, and customer success teams, then feed that information back into the product process.
  • Document workflows, decisions, and operational processes to keep a cross-functional team coordinated.
  • Support go-to-market activities in partnership with marketing and customer-facing teams.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in product management or in a closely related position such as product analyst, business analyst, program coordinator, or similar cross-functional work.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across several departments and functions.
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills, along with excellent organization.
  • Ability to make decisions using data and work with product and analytics information.
  • Familiarity with agile development methods and commonly used product management tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • For technical setup, candidates must have a Windows or Apple computer only; Chromebooks, Linux machines, and smartphones are not supported. Minimum supported operating systems are Windows 10 or macOS 13.
  • Wired headphones are required for best audio quality.
  • Internet must meet at least 50 Mbps download and 20 Mbps upload, with a wired ethernet connection directly to the router.
  • Google Chrome must be used with Amazon Workspaces, regardless of computer type.
  • A working webcam is required for video calls.
  • A second monitor is recommended for laptop users, and dual monitors are recommended for PC users.

Preferred Experience

  • Background in healthcare, digital health, or virtual care.
  • Experience in a startup or high-growth company where responsibilities are broad and ambiguity is common.
  • Exposure to B2B products or healthcare products and services.
  • Practical experience using tools such as Figma, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, or similar software.
