Role Overview
This opening is for a Product Management role at Assistant Manager level in Gurugram, reporting to the Associate Director - Product Management. The Connect team focuses on helping hotel and alternate accommodation partners grow by improving the pre-booking and post-booking journey, strengthening visibility, boosting conversions, and improving pricing competitiveness through product-led solutions.
About the Function
At MakeMyTrip, Product Management is central to building and scaling travel experiences. The function brings together technology, data, design, and business understanding to improve discovery, personalization, payments, loyalty, and other key journeys for millions of travellers. Product teams operate with strong ownership, similar to mini-CEOs, and help shape strategy, turn insights into action, and move the company toward a product-first mindset.
About the Role
This position is focused on creating high-impact solutions for hotels and alternate accommodation partners. The person in this role will identify and solve challenges faced by users and partners across the consumer and host journey, improve experience and conversion, and drive innovation in areas such as pricing, visibility, and inventory management. Success in this role depends on a strong product mindset, the ability to convert insights into scalable strategies, and effective collaboration with business, technology, design, and analytics teams.
What You Will Do
- Design and launch new products and features that are accurate, scalable, and valuable for partners and customers.
- Set the product direction, define priorities, and maintain a roadmap that delivers business impact and better user experiences.
- Work closely with engineering, design, QA, supply, finance, and customer support teams to release products smoothly.
- Track product KPIs, review performance on an ongoing basis, and refine the product after launch to improve adoption and usability.
- Develop product understanding through regular customer interaction, market study, and competitive analysis.
- Create a smooth and differentiated experience for both hotel consumers and hosts within the Connect ecosystem.
- Use data, structured problem-solving, and simplification to build intuitive solutions with strong business value.
Qualification & Experience
The role requires a management graduate from a reputed institute with 2 to 4 years of experience in a consumer-facing, technology-enabled business or product setting.
