Job description
Role overview
PointClickCare is hiring an Associate Product Manager to join the Senior Care Advanced Insights team. This group builds data, analytics, and AI-enabled products that help care teams improve outcomes in skilled nursing and senior care settings. The Advanced Insights module focuses on business intelligence reporting that supports clinical and operational decision-making.
You will work alongside Product, Engineering, Data, and UX partners to ship new reporting capabilities, refine existing insights, and keep the customer experience smooth and valuable. The role also includes backlog ownership, roadmap support, and hands-on delivery work, with mentorship from senior product leaders. The company values curiosity, a growth mindset, and interest in using AI and data to improve healthcare.
Work location and travel
This is a remote role based in the United States. Even for remote employees, occasional travel to the Mississauga and/or Salt Lake City office is expected for in-person events such as onboarding, team gatherings, and semi-annual or annual meetings.
Key work areas
- Translate company strategy into product priorities for your assigned scope.
- Develop deep knowledge of the Advanced Insights module, including reporting features, data sources, and customer value.
- Build and enhance business intelligence reports that improve usability, insight delivery, and customer outcomes.
- Maintain and expand existing reporting such as rehospitalization metrics, quality measures, and outcomes-focused dashboards.
- Add new datasets and support reporting related to state reimbursement requirements and changing regulatory or customer needs.
- Help evaluate and introduce new visualization tools and reporting technologies.
- Act as the customer advocate for a scrum team made up of engineering and UX partners, while supporting delivery ceremonies with engineering leads.
- Keep the backlog organized and prioritized in JIRA and Aha!, and write detailed user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
- Support roadmap planning, feature definition, prioritization, and alignment with business objectives in Aha!.
- Work with insights engineering teams, including application and data modeling functions, to create end-to-end product experiences.
- Coordinate with engineering, data, and AI platform teams to maintain smooth data movement through analytics and reporting pipelines.
- Use AI tools such as Claude to assist with JIRA and Aha! tasks, research, and presentation development.
- Validate product-market fit with customers and internal stakeholders and look for opportunities to improve products and services.
- Surface risks early, communicate them clearly, and bring the right stakeholders together to resolve them.
Candidate profile
The ideal candidate has a business, computer science, or healthcare-related degree and 1 to 3 years of experience in product management or a related function, ideally in health tech SaaS. You should be comfortable working in Agile environments and using tools like JIRA and Aha! for backlog and roadmap management.
Experience with business intelligence or data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, GoodData, or React-based reporting frameworks is important. A working understanding of healthcare data, quality programs, reimbursement models, and clinical or operational reporting is also valuable. The role calls for someone who is data-driven, collaborative, adaptable, and able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences. Familiarity with AI tools and how they support product work, research, and content creation is a plus.
