Role Overview

The HR Business Partner role supports enabling functions by creating strong relationships with business stakeholders and helping drive performance, engagement, compliance, and people-focused solutions. The position requires a clear understanding of business needs, especially around data and queries, and translating those into practical HR actions.

This role works closely with leadership to strengthen organizational health, support policy execution, shape culture, guide employee development, and coordinate with HR centers of excellence, finance, legal, and other teams to represent business requirements. It also involves handling employee concerns in a structured way and contributing to company-wide initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business teams to support the execution of HR policies and processes.
  • Develop a solid understanding of the business environment, priorities, and operating context.
  • Work with the business on requests for analysis related to payroll costs, leave data, performance metrics, and similar matters.
  • Address sensitive employee or management issues with care, follow-through, and regular communication with relevant stakeholders.
  • Promote and execute the performance management philosophy and process.
  • Coordinate annual and mid-year performance activities, including promotions and feedback cycles, while meeting timelines.
  • Handle grievance cases on a case-by-case basis and keep the appropriate stakeholders informed.
  • Maintain accurate personnel information across systems and track headcount, new hires, attrition, and related trends.
  • Support talent acquisition by taking HR face-to-face rounds for open positions.
  • Work with the learning and development team to assess the effectiveness of initiatives related to skill gaps and development needs.

Requirements

  • MBA from a reputed Tier-1 or Tier-2 institute.
  • 0 to 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in fashion or e-commerce.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Clear, structured thinking and sound problem-solving ability.
  • Comfort with collaboration and influencing others without direct authority.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to work on large data sets.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in an agile and ambiguous environment.
  • Capability to make independent people-related decisions.
  • Experience or familiarity with coaching, consulting, facilitation, process development, and analysis is relevant to the role.
