Role overview

The Associate HR Business Partner will contribute to performance management, employee engagement, compliance, and people-focused initiatives across business teams. This position involves working closely with managers, supporting employee check-ins, coordinating review cycles, and helping ensure HR programs are executed smoothly and in line with business needs.

Performance management

• Support end-to-end performance processes such as probation reviews, appraisal cycles, performance reviews, and performance improvement plans.
• Keep track of key review milestones and make sure timelines are met.
• Partner with managers to collect feedback and maintain accurate performance records.
• Hold regular employee check-ins and one-on-one conversations.

Compliance

• Help ensure HR policies, process requirements, and documentation standards are followed consistently.
• Monitor probation confirmations, employee lifecycle steps, and related compliance actions.

Business partnering support

• Work with managers to understand team issues and provide HR support for people-related matters.
• Assist in implementing HR initiatives that align with business goals.
• Support workforce planning, organisational changes, and other people programs when needed.

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of experience in HRBP, HR operations, or HR generalist roles.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work well across teams.
• Good understanding of performance management, employee engagement, and employee lifecycle processes.
• Comfort handling sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
• Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Well-organised with strong attention to detail, follow-through, and execution.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets for tracking, reporting, and analysis.
• Ability to build effective relationships with employees and managers while supporting business objectives.
• Comfort working in a fast-moving environment and managing several priorities at once.
