You will shape annual brand direction, guide strategic planning cycles, and connect market intelligence, financial projections, and execution priorities into one clear plan. Working with senior stakeholders and partners across functions, you will turn complex information and shifting market conditions into strategic guidance that supports business decisions. The position calls for both deep analytical thinking and polished executive communication, along with the ability to lead competitive preparedness and contribute to go-to-market strategy in an oncology-focused environment.
Accountabilities
- Own the annual brand planning process and set strategic priorities while aligning execution across teams.
- Work with insights and analytics partners to build, sharpen, and confirm forecasts and market assumptions.
- Lead competitive preparedness efforts by converting market intelligence into practical recommendations.
- Manage brand-level financial planning, including budget oversight, forecasting, and risk/opportunity identification.
- Coordinate Annual Operating Plan development with Finance and Marketing leadership.
- Turn detailed market and performance data into leadership-ready messaging and strategic storylines.
- Partner with marketing, digital, and patient engagement teams to keep brand strategy and execution aligned.
- Contribute to special strategic work such as market shaping, segmentation, and leadership-assigned initiatives.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of marketing experience, or an equivalent combination that includes an advanced degree; 10+ years in pharmaceutical or healthcare commercial roles is preferred.
- Solid experience in brand strategy, market planning, or commercial marketing in competitive therapeutic categories.
- Hands-on exposure to financial planning, forecasting, and tracking business performance.
- Ability to convert customer insights, market research, and analytics into strategic recommendations.
- Strong track record of influencing cross-functional partners and leading without direct authority.
- Excellent executive communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information into clear business narratives.
- Experience in oncology or other highly competitive therapeutic markets is a strong advantage.
- Comfort using MS Office and operating in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
Benefits and perks
- Competitive base pay with eligibility for an annual bonus.
- Equity participation, including employee stock purchase plan access.
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
- 401(k) retirement savings plan with company contribution.
- Flexible paid time off and wellness-oriented leave policies.
- Remote work flexibility anywhere in the United States.
- Family-focused support, including parental leave.
- Learning and professional development opportunities.
- Wellness support such as mental health and coaching resources.
