Job description
Role overview
This position sits within CO-Ho, the in-house advertising studio for the Beauty division at Procter & Gamble. The team is looking for an Associate Creative Director with a strong background in art direction or copywriting who can develop compelling short-form advertising and help elevate work for major consumer brands. The ideal hire is a sharp idea-driven thinker who can spot weak briefs quickly and improve them into stronger creative opportunities.
What the role involves
You will guide campaign development for well-known brands and bring ideas from concept through production. The role calls for someone with broad agency experience, a deep appreciation of advertising craft and history, and the ability to lead creative output across multiple formats and channels.
The work spans TV, print, digital, social, radio, out-of-home, and activation experiences. You will also need to present work confidently, make strategic creative decisions, and maintain a high standard of execution across every project.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and support a team of creative professionals while encouraging collaboration and growth.
- Use AI tools and prompt-writing skills to stay ahead of emerging creative methods and production approaches.
- Plan, manage, and deliver creative assignments on schedule, within budget, and at a high quality level.
- Set creative and strategic direction, review work, and ensure alignment with brand rules and project goals.
- Partner with clients to understand business needs and present ideas that meet or surpass expectations.
- Balance workloads, distribute resources effectively, and remove obstacles that could disrupt delivery.
Why this opportunity stands out
The role offers the energy and flexibility of a startup-like environment, combined with the scale, resources, and brand strength of P&G's Personal Care business. It is a chance to help shape how AI-driven content creation works at scale inside a major global company.
You will have the opportunity to produce high-impact work seen by large audiences, influence a new creative discipline, and experiment with advanced tools and technologies. The environment is collaborative, with access to creative talent such as DPs, editors, CG artists, and fellow creative directors. The role also spans a wide range of brands and content types, including Secret, Olay, Native, Gillette, Ivory, Safeguard, Herbal Essences, and others.
Qualifications and experience
Applicants should bring at least 5 years of experience in art direction or copywriting, including 3 years in a leadership position at the Associate Creative Director level within an agency setting. The right candidate should be comfortable acting as a player-coach and have a strong record of guiding creative teams.
A compelling portfolio is required, along with strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and other design tools is expected, as is the ability to stay organized while managing several projects at once in a fast-moving, deadline-heavy environment.
You should also understand core advertising principles such as positioning, audience psychology, buyer journey stages, and conversion-focused messaging. Experience writing for both digital and traditional media is important, along with knowledge of SEO basics, character limits, accessibility considerations, and how copy performs across social media, email, paid search, and display placements. Strong conceptual thinking is essential, especially the ability to turn ideas into full campaign-level solutions in collaboration with art direction partners.
Employment and location
This is a full-time, onsite role based in Cincinnati, Ohio.

The stated annual pay range for this role is $110,000 to $165,300. Total rewards may also include bonus and benefits, depending on eligibility and the specifics of the offer. Compensation can vary based on office location, credentials, skills, and relevant experience.
