Role Overview
Klick Consulting is looking for an Associate Consultant to contribute to strategy, innovation, and digital transformation engagements for healthcare and life sciences clients. The position supports client work through research, analysis, insight development, and the creation of clear recommendations. The Associate Consultant works closely with consulting colleagues and specialists across business strategy, behavioral science, data, and technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Build insights by combining secondary research, client data review, expert interviews, and structured analysis.
- Create client-ready proposals, presentation decks, and strategic recommendations for healthcare and life sciences projects.
- Explain findings and recommendations in client meetings using clear communication and evidence-based logic.
- Convert research, data, and project analysis into polished written and visual materials for internal teams and clients.
- Work alongside consulting teammates and cross-functional specialists in strategy, behavioral science, AI/ML, and digital areas to deliver outcomes.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in business, science, healthcare, economics, strategy, or a closely related area, with coursework or project work that shows analytical thinking.
- At least 1 year of experience from an internship, co-op, academic setting, or professional role involving research, analysis, or strategy work in consulting, healthcare, life sciences, or business.
- Ability to produce clear written outputs such as research summaries, slide decks, proposals, or recommendation documents.
- Experience with PowerPoint or Google Slides to present insights visually for academic, internal, or client audiences.
- Experience presenting ideas, findings, or recommendations to stakeholders, clients, professors, or senior colleagues.
- Clear interest in pharmaceuticals, biotech, medical devices, consumer health, healthcare, or life sciences through work, studies, research, or projects.
- Preferred qualifications include comfort using AI as part of everyday work.
- Preferred qualifications include an advanced degree such as an MBA, MSc, MPH, or another graduate-level program related to business, science, healthcare, or strategy.
- Preferred qualifications include experience in management consulting, healthcare consulting, agency, pharma, biotech, or medical device environments with client-facing responsibilities.
- Preferred qualifications include conducting expert interviews, stakeholder interviews, qualitative research, or synthesizing primary research findings.
- Preferred qualifications include working with Excel or Google Sheets for structured analysis, data organization, or business case development.
Additional Information
This is an existing opening at Klick.
The base pay for this role is CAD 80,000 to CAD 95,000 annually. The final offer will depend on factors such as work location, skills, education, and prior experience.
