Role Overview
This position involves working with data to support business planning and decision-making. The work is centered around collecting, preparing, analyzing, and presenting data so that teams can act on clear insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Extract data from large internal and external databases by querying systems and building scripts where needed.
- Clean, organize, and reconcile incomplete, messy, or duplicate data to make it analysis-ready; this may account for 60–70% of the role.
- Perform statistical analysis to uncover trends, patterns, outliers, and other insights tied to business questions.
- Create dashboards and automated reports that simplify complex findings for non-technical stakeholders.
- Work closely with teams such as marketing, product, and finance to define KPIs and evaluate project outcomes.
Requirements
- Experience with category management and SQL.
- Ability to work with large datasets and handle data preparation and analysis tasks.
- Comfort with reporting, dashboarding, and translating data into business insights.
- Strong collaboration skills for working across functions.
Education
Undergraduate degree required.
